Key Highlights of the 2022 Acquisitions:
- Focus on British artists: The acquisitions aimed to support and promote artists based in the UK, with a particular emphasis on those working outside of London, including artists from Manchester, Hastings, Ramsgate, and Lincolnshire.
- Early career support: The collection actively purchases work from artists early in their careers, providing crucial support and recognition.
- Wide circulation: The Arts Council Collection is known for its extensive loan program, making its artworks accessible to a wide range of public institutions and organisations across the UK.
